TrainingTedcor is the only industry player in waste management in South Africa that has a formal training programme. It is also affiliated to the Services Education Training Authority (SETA).
MentorshipTedcor employs account managers who provide ongoing mentorship to the Community Contractors (CCs).
TestimonialsTedcor has, in the last 20 years of its existence, trained hundreds of members of local communities to become Community Contractors (CCs), while creating thousands of jobs within the communities where it operates.
Tedcor employs account managers who provide ongoing mentorship to the Community Contractors (CCs). This takes the form of ongoing operational advice and assistance through regular interaction. In the initial stages of business establishment, these meetings are held weekly and are decreased as CCs become more independent. Their performance and quality of service is monitored by Tedcor’s account managers on an ongoing basis.
Tedcor also assists CCs with ongoing financial and administrative assistance. Their expenses are managed in collaboration with Tedcor, with the company advising the CC in terms of effective cost management. The financial risk to CC is therefore eliminated through this system.
